Right Time to Build a Swimming Pool

Do you have plans to start your home improvement projects or start building your swimming pool? Some would suggest you to wait till the sprig arrive while the others suggest you to start building in the warm weather. In such situations, many ask “when is the right situation to start building a swimming pool?”

Right time

Not everyone knows the answer to this question but most of us think that atleast late spring or even summer would be the best possible option. For all those who are not aware of which season to build a swimming pool, listed below are some of the advantages as well as disadvantages of installing a pool in spring as well as in summer.

The Pros and Cons

  • There are many people who claim to have seen dry winters than the summers. There can be some days lost without work due to the dry weather.
  • The poll installer can work for longer hours in winter; is it? The installer does work for same hours, be it summer of winter. He can still opt to work for later hours in summers but this can also be commenced in winters with correct artificial lightening. But there are certain works for which artificial lightening cannot be used.
  • Does the frost affect the build of the pool? Sometimes it does, but we need to check if we really get so many frost winters. Are the temperatures always below the freezing point? Even if your answer is yes, there are a number of ways a build can be protected from a frost attack and the pools construction can also be protected.

There is no specific time to get a swimming pool installed. If you want the pool to be installed before the winter starts, then it is always wise and safe to start the construction process 3-4 months in advance. You can also book a pool installer and finding one can get hard if the warmer summer approach.  You also need to consider some last minute repairs and refurbishments.

So, think wise and act smart as there is no season which is a best season to install or repair a swimming pool.
