Swimming pool landscaping

The word Landscaping means remodeling of outdoors. This may mean removing some trees in backyard , large trees with big root systems can cause damage to ground swimming pool over a few years and make a garden, making small pond and waterfall  and a business with large fountains in front of them etc.

Put the pool in an ideal location with flower trees and small palm trees surrounding it to add the appeal of the swimming pool as well.

It is not possible to judge how hard is landscaping to do? It is not exactly rocket science and most of the people do on their own with their hard work and design. However, it is not easy either because spending several months outside sweating and   not getting outcome.  It requires careful planning, able to spend many man hours and some special design skills.

The best option is to hire professionals who can design a swimming pool. Take a contractor help and apply for permit in your local city. You might have to take permit from the home owners association. At times you may have to pay tax extra.

Designing the pool

Take rent for necessary construction equipment like a backhoe and dig out the area. Even out the ground as much as possible. There are many ways to grade the ground; sloping floor is one of the best options. Construct the wall with wood and metal rebar which are even and in line with each other. Get a licensed plumber, who creates supply and filtration system which meets the expectation. Get an electrician to run the power for lights and filtration system if needed. Once the plumbing and electricity is ready we can start constructing the pool. Pay attention to the angle of the floor.  Make sure tops of the walls are even and level with the surrounding ground before constructing. Pools need some moisture barrier, which keeps the water leeching out. Talk to the contractor about the right thing for you. Some options include plastic liner, real tile covering, plastic coat . Once this is done your pool is ready to use.
